This socket is designed for installations where the antenna signal flows serially through multiple rooms—from the source to the final receiver. The 10 dB attenuation is not arbitrary: it ensures even distribution of signal loss along the line, guaranteeing a stable level at terminal points. In installations with multiple sockets, where each successive point moves farther from the antenna, this attenuation is critical—too low causes signal overload; too high results in weak reception.

The recessed mounting with clips and screw allows the installer to easily secure it in a standard backbox. No special tools or additional components are required—simply connect the coaxial cable and close the housing. Internal threaded clamps ensure a durable, low-resistance connection, while shielding exceeding 81 dB eliminates interference from other household devices.

Appearance and integration into interior design
