Practical light control without unnecessary complexity

The dimmer operates by pressing and turning the knob — a short press turns the light on or off, while holding it for more than 2 seconds activates brightness adjustment. When you release the knob, the illumination level is saved permanently. You can also hold the button so the brightness smoothly rises from minimum to maximum and back — ideal for quickly setting the atmosphere without precise tuning.

In a stair‑way circuit with a maintained switch it works flawlessly — it does not require backlighting, and its operation does not interfere with other installation components. With the device turned off, holding the button for 2 seconds will turn it on at the programmed minimum brightness level, after which it automatically starts increasing — useful in night conditions when a gentle start is needed.

Installer‑focused design

The mounting solutions from the Szafir series significantly speed up work. The frame with flexible multi‑clamps compensates for wall curvature — a perfect substrate is not required for the product to adhere smoothly. The external cover can be installed and removed without taking off the dimmer itself — meaning that when replacing one unit in a set you do not have to dismantle the rest.

Threadless clamps feature ergonomic release buttons — the cable slides out with a single finger motion, no tools needed. The screws in the sockets are factory‑loosened and secured against falling out, and their uniform orientation (in double sockets) makes it easy to tighten many cables at once. Inserting cables perpendicular to the clamps eliminates the risk of them being pushed out during installation in a junction box.
