DALI PCU TW GEN2 controller is a compact device that forms the heart of a lighting control system. Designed to work with dimmable DALI drivers, it offers precise control over lighting in various spaces – from offices and conference rooms, through restaurants and shops, to private homes.

Functionality and application

The device allows you to create advanced lighting scenes and adapt the lighting to the needs of users. The ability to connect up to four DALI PCU TW G2 drivers to create multiple control points, with automatic synchronization between them, increases system flexibility. The controller works with both standard DALI and DALI DT8 (TW) drivers, ensuring wide compatibility. Additionally, the ability to connect standard presence and motion detectors powered by mains voltage allows for lighting automation and energy savings.

Design and characteristic features

The controller is characterized by its small dimensions – 48 mm wide, 22 mm high and 22 mm deep – which makes it easy to install in various applications. AC/DC power supply ensures versatility, and the IP20 protection class guarantees safe use in dry rooms. The set includes a cover and a knob to facilitate configuration. The length of the DALI control cable can be up to 300 meters, providing great freedom in installation design. The built-in DALI bus power supply eliminates the need for additional power supplies.

Additional features

The controller offers configurable behavior after a power failure and IFTTT support, allowing integration with other smart home systems. The ability to individually set the minimum brightness level ensures comfortable use and adaptation of the lighting to user preferences. Support for up to 25 electronic ballast devices makes the controller ideal for both small and larger installations.
