HydroControl D valve is a key component in the precise hydraulic balancing of central heating and cooling systems with a closed circuit. Its function is to maintain optimal heat or cool flow throughout the system, regardless of the load. The differential pressure regulator, which is its heart, guarantees stable operation even with fluctuating power demand, eliminating problems with uneven heating or cooling of individual rooms.

This valve is used both in new installations and during the modernization of existing systems. Its design allows for easy integration with OV-DMC 3 measurement systems, enabling accurate measurement of water flow in the vertical direction using a connected impulse tube. This, in turn, translates into better control over the operation of the installation and the ability to optimize its parameters.

Constructional features and functionality

HydroControl D is distinguished by a solid construction based on dezincification-resistant brass, stainless steel and EPDM. These materials ensure long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in difficult operating conditions. The inclined arrangement of the spindle and the smooth pre-setting of the set differential pressure (protected against unauthorized manipulation) make it easy to precisely adjust the valve to the specifics of the installation. All functional elements are located on the side of the knob, which ensures convenient operation and easy access during adjustment.

The valve is equipped with a HydroPort auxiliary valve, which enables flow measurement by measuring the pressure difference – this method is widely used in modern heating and cooling systems. In addition, the valve has a medium shut-off and a setting pre-setting display/indicator for easy control of settings. The capillary length is 1 meter, which provides flexibility during installation.
