Shut-off valve for central heating and cooling installations
This HydroCom A shut-off valve, with a DN32 diameter and Rp 1 1/4 GW connection, is designed for effectively isolating pipes in closed-loop central heating and cooling systems. Its design makes it ideal for both residential and commercial applications. The valve, in the oblique position, does not require pre-setting, simplifying its installation and operation.
The valve features a HydroPort connection on the outlet side, allowing easy connection of the impulse tube of a differential pressure regulator. This solution is particularly useful for installers who want to integrate the valve with flow control systems. Additionally, the maintenance-free spindle seal ensures long-term reliability and minimizes the need for maintenance.
Construction and functionality
The HydroCom A valve is characterized by its compact dimensions and durable construction. The body made of EZB brass guarantees corrosion resistance and long life. The optimized Y-type housing provides good flow of heating or cooling medium. A Kvs value of 13.0 indicates a high flow rate of the valve, which translates to efficient operation of the entire system.
The use of the HydroPort connection offers a number of benefits:
- Quick connection of measuring instruments: thanks to quick connectors, no needles are required, making it easier to assemble and disassemble measuring devices.
- Integration with differential pressure regulators: possibility of connecting the capillary of the Hydrocontrol D regulator (in combination with Hydromat DTR, an additional adapter 1069601 is required).
- Convenient filling and draining: it is recommended to use the Hydroport / GZ ¾ adapter (1069601) for optimal operation of the filling and draining function.
The valve can be mounted on both the supply and return of the installation, increasing its versatility. It is designed to operate in a temperature range from -20°C to 120°C and at a working pressure of PN16. Additionally, an insulation shell is available as an accessory, which helps to reduce heat loss.
