Insulated connection strip – reliable connections in electrical installations

The LPI-14 insulated connection strip is an element used for safe and effective connection of wires in switchboards, control panels and other electrical installations. Designed for phase, neutral or protective conductors, it provides a solid connection and facilitates cable organization. Made of high-quality thermoplastic and brass, it guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Mounting is done on a standard TH-35 mm DIN rail, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the installation process.

Construction and parameters for professionals

The LPI-14 strip allows connection of up to fourteen wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm² (solid) or 1.5 mm² to 10 mm² (stranded with ferrule). Screw terminals ensure a secure and reliable connection, and the V2 flammability class of the insulating material increases safety. The rated current of the strip is 101 A at a rated voltage of 400 V. The distance between mounting hole centers is 7.1 mm, allowing for precise adaptation to existing installations. The strip design allows mounting on a TS35 rail, as well as directly to the mounting surface with screws. Additionally, the strip cover has slots for DK-type markers and digital designation of individual terminals, which facilitates wire identification and documentation.

Safety and functionality for the end user

Made of durable thermoplastic, the LPI-14 strip ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The green-yellow color indicates the strip's intended use for protective conductors (PE), which increases the safety of the electrical installation. A wide range of permissible wire cross-sections makes the strip universal and can be used in various applications – from home installations to industrial ones. Resistance to temperatures in the range of -25°C to 100°C guarantees reliable operation even in difficult environmental conditions. The strip can also be combined with other LPI strips using Ws-type supports, creating insulated blocks (BLPI) with increased functionality.
