Installation branch OBL 95/35-1 is a reliable solution for creating safe and durable electrical connections. Designed for both copper and – with proper preparation – aluminum wires, it provides flexibility in material selection and adaptation to various installations. The design allows for through wiring, eliminating the need to cut them, which translates to saving time and material during installation.

Construction and installation – for professionals and users

The branch is made of durable polyamide (body) and transparent polycarbonate (cover), which guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and the effects of high temperatures (up to 100°C) and glow (up to 850°C). Installation is simple and convenient – it is possible to mount it to the substrate using dowels, or on standard TS35 rails using a snap-on fastener. This fastener ensures secure and stable mounting of the branch on the rail, and its design allows for easy assessment of the correctness of the installation. In the case of multi-section sets, dowels and positioning holes facilitate precise arrangement of individual elements.

Safety and connection identification

The design of the branch has been carefully considered in terms of safety. The ability to secure the cover against unauthorized access with a seal minimizes the risk of accidental changes in connection configuration. The cover has clear markings of the branch current paths and a place for additional markings of the main path, which facilitates identification of individual circuits. The branch complies with IEC 60998-2-1 standard, confirming its compliance with applicable safety standards. It is adapted for wires with a cross-section of 25-95 mm² for the main path and 4-35 mm² for the branch paths. The tightening torque for the terminals is 6.0 Nm for the main path and 2.5 Nm for the branch paths, respectively.
