Universal connector for electrical installations

The ZUG-16 grey through-connection terminal is a solid and reliable solution for connecting wires in electrical installations. Designed for both professional use and demanding home users, it provides safe and durable connections. Its versatility stems from the ability to connect wires of different cross-sections and types – both solid and stranded, with or without a ferrule.

Construction and application

The terminal is designed for mounting on a standard DIN TH-35 mm rail, which facilitates its integration with existing distribution boards and electrical cabinets. Made of high-quality thermoplastic material, it is characterized by good resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. Flame retardancy class V0 provides additional safety in the event of a short circuit or overheating. Screw connections guarantee a secure and stable connection of the wires.

The ZUG-16 terminal is ideal for installations with a rated voltage of up to 1000V and a rated current of 76A. A wide operating temperature range (-25°C to 120°C) allows its use in various environmental conditions. Two connection levels allow the connection of two wires simultaneously, increasing functionality and ease of installation. A required closing plate provides additional protection against accidental contact with live wires.

The terminal allows the connection of wires with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² to 25 mm² for solid wires and 0.5 mm² to 16 mm² for stranded wires (with or without a ferrule). Installation is quick and easy thanks to the standard TH-35 mm rail. Insulating material with flame retardancy class V0 ensures a high level of fire safety, and the durable thermoplastic guarantees resistance to mechanical damage. The ability to connect different types of wires (solid and stranded) and mount labels on dedicated sockets (DK-Z5 or DK-Z6) facilitates the identification of connections. Compatibility with most electrical installations ensures a rated voltage of 1000V.
