The PS ETIMAT 10 MD auxiliary contact is a practical solution for monitoring the status of circuit breakers in electrical installations. Thanks to its compact design and universal side mounting, it is suitable for both domestic switchboards and industrial systems.
Design and technical parameters
The device is equipped with one normally open (NO) contact and one normally closed (NC) contact, allowing for flexible creation of signaling and control circuits. A rated making current of 6A ensures safe operation at low loads, while the device can work with main contacts having a maximum current of 63A.
A rated voltage of 230V and a frequency of 50/60Hz guarantee compatibility with typical single-phase installations. Wire cross-sections from 1mm² to 4mm² allow for the connection of various types of single-core and multi-core wires, and the screw connection ensures a durable and secure fastening.
Application and compatibility
The auxiliary contact has been specifically designed to work with ETIMAT 6 series circuit breakers. Side mounting allows for the expansion of existing device functionality without the need to replace the entire apparatus. The device can support a maximum of four main poles, making it a universal solution for various switchboard configurations.
The design enables easy addition of alarm signaling or control of additional circuits upon a change in the circuit breaker status – from the opening or closing of the main circuit.
Standards and operating conditions
The product meets the requirements of the European standard EN 62019, confirming its safety for use in electrical installations. Compact dimensions of 17×85×73 mm and a low weight of 0.05 kg facilitate installation even in tight spaces of modular switchboards.
