Cast iron pipe SML is an element of a sewage system designed for gravity-fed installations inside buildings. Made of gray cast iron without keels, it offers a durable and reliable solution for wastewater drainage. The pipe length is 3 meters, and the outer diameter is 150 mm, corresponding to a nominal diameter of DN 150.
SML pipes are connected using special pipe clamps (brackets, straps, connectors), ensuring a tight and stable connection. The outer surface of the pipe is covered with a red-brown primer paint, which can be additionally painted with varnish. The inner layer is fully lined with ochre-colored (yellow-brown) epoxy resin, protecting against the action of aggressive substances contained in wastewater.

SYSTEM ADVANTAGES:
- NON-FLAMMABLE, FIRE PROTECTION - cast iron products made in accordance with en-877 are non-flammable, non-flammable (A2 flammability class according to EN 13501) and non-toxic (no smoke generation, no flammable or dripping materials due to the heat generated). In the event of fire, they retain their functional properties and reliability for many hours, i.e. their walls remain impermeable to flames and gases, without cracking and showing no loss of performance or significant changes in shape. The integrity of wall and ceiling ducts is also maintained.
- ACOUSTIC PROTECTION - Due to the high density of the cast iron and the buffer effect of the rubber gaskets at the connecting elements, the transmission of material sound has been reduced to a minimum, so that this system offers an almost silent drainage. - THERMAL AND CHEMICAL RESISTANCE - a coating of fully cross-linked epoxy resin (red-brown on the outside and ocher (yellow-brown) on the inside) is applied to the surface of pipes and fittings, and then fired for 45 minutes at a temperature of approx. 180 ° C. The result is a high-strength joint that provides high thermal and chemical resistance, protecting against aggressive wastewater.
