Purpose and construction of NEF30 control buttons

The NEF30 control button is an element designed to be built into control panels, control and signaling boards, or directly into the bodies of machines and devices. The construction based on members allows for flexible adaptation to various applications. Designed for mounting in holes with a diameter of 30.5 mm, available in two climatic versions – N/2 and W/3 – which ensures their reliability in a wide temperature range.

Characteristics and application

The NEF30-TPc2X black button is a momentary-rotary model with a knob rotation angle of 2x60 degrees, with separately switched contacts. The construction allows for configuration with a maximum of six current paths (NO/NC), which provides a great deal of freedom in designing control systems. Thanks to the IP56 degree of protection, the button is resistant to dust and water ingress, making it an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V, and the thermal current Ith is 10A, which guarantees safe and reliable operation in various operating conditions.

Construction and operating parameters

The button consists of a drive (working element) and connectors attached to it. This allows you to adapt the functionality of the button to specific application requirements. Connection cables can have a cross-section from 0.75 to 1.5 mm² (LY or DY). The effective opening force is 1.9 N, and the effective opening travel is 2.3 mm. The mechanical durability of rotary drives is 3 x 10⁶ operating cycles.
