Backup Power System – Reliability for Your Surveillance

This backup power system, designed to work with PoE switches and recorders, guarantees uninterrupted operation of your video surveillance system. The SWR-300 is designed to provide stable power even in the event of a power grid failure. The device allows for continuous power supply to a PoE switch with 54 VDC and a recorder with 12 V DC. The design based on an efficient switch-mode power supply and DC/DC converters ensures high energy efficiency and minimizes energy losses.

Construction and mounting possibilities

The housing made of durable steel sheet (RAL 9003) houses space for four 17Ah/12V (SLA) batteries, providing long-lasting backup power. A microswitch indicates opening of the housing, increasing installation security. Removable mounting plates allow easy attachment of a PoE switch with dimensions up to 245x150x50 mm (e.g., Pulsar models: S64, SG64, SFG64, SFG64F1, S108, SG108, SF108) and a recorder with dimensions up to 380x380x48 mm. This makes the system compatible with a wide range of devices on the market. Surface mounting is simple and intuitive.

Functionality and protections

The SWR-300 offers an output power of up to 300W and the ability to select the battery charging current (0.5A/1A/2A), adapting to the individual needs of the installation. The protections used – SCP (short-circuit protection), OLP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), UVP (low voltage protection), OHP (overheat protection) and tamper – guarantee safety for both devices and the installation itself. Optical LED signaling informs about the operating status of the device – presence of AC voltage, voltage at the output and battery charging.
