The AWZG2-12V/2A/7Ah buffered power supply is a solid solution ensuring the continuity of alarm systems, access control, CCTV monitoring and other devices requiring stable 12V DC power. Thanks to its transformer-based design, the device is characterized by high reliability and minimal interference levels, which is crucial for the proper functioning of sensitive systems. The built-in 7Ah battery guarantees uninterrupted operation in the event of a mains power failure.

Design and functionality

The AWZG2 power supply has been designed for easy surface mounting. The metal housing (RAL9003 – white color) provides durability and an aesthetic appearance. Inside there is space for a battery with a capacity of up to 7Ah, allowing the device to be adapted to specific needs. Additionally, the power supply is equipped with a microswitch signaling the opening of the housing (tamper), which increases the level of security. LED optical signaling informs about the operating status of the power supply and the battery. The output voltage can be adjusted in the range of 11-13.8V DC, allowing for precise adaptation to the requirements of the powered devices. The battery charging current can be set using a jumper (0.2A or 0.5A).

Safety and protection

AWZG2 has a number of protections protecting both connected devices and the power supply itself: SCP (short-circuit protection), OLP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), UVP (battery over-discharge protection) and tamper (protection against opening the housing). OC technical outputs (EPS – AC mains failure, APS – battery failure) allow for remote monitoring of the power supply status and quick response in case of problems. Compliance with EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11:2013 standards confirms the high quality and safety of the device. A built-in fuse protects the battery circuit from damage.
