The MSRK 3012 buffer power supply module is a component designed to ensure uninterrupted power supply in alarm systems (I&HAS) and access control systems. The device, operating at 13.8V DC and 3A current, guarantees stable operation of connected devices even in the event of a mains power failure. The module design meets the requirements of EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11:2013 standards, Grade 2 and II class, which confirms its high quality and reliability.

Functionality and protection

MSRK 3012 is not only a power supply – it is a comprehensive solution for monitoring the battery status and ensuring its proper operation. The built-in microprocessor manages the charging process, controls the battery voltage and protects it against deep discharge (UVP). Additionally, the module has short-circuit protection and reverse battery polarity protection, which minimizes the risk of damage. Thanks to the dynamic battery testing function, the system regularly checks its efficiency, informing about any problems. An LED optical signal indicates the power status, battery charging and any failures.

Installation and configuration

The MSRK 3012 module is easy to install and configure. It has OC technical outputs (optionally expandable with relays using the AWZ639 module), which allow remote monitoring of the power supply and battery status. Two charging current ranges (0.5A/1A) are available, which can be adjusted to the battery capacity and system requirements. The device is intended for mounting in electrical enclosures/cabinets, in an environment with normal humidity (RH=90% max., without condensation) and temperature from -10°C to 40°C. Remember to choose the appropriate input voltage – 20-22 VAC (min. 80 VA).
