Multifunctional buffer power supply for security and access control systems

The PSDCG2-12V4X1A buffer power supply is a reliable device designed to provide uninterrupted power to alarm systems, access control systems and other devices requiring a stable 13.8V DC voltage. The design compliant with EN50131 and EN60839-11 standards guarantees high quality and operational safety. The power supply has four current outputs with a value of 1A each, allowing for flexible power supply of various system components. Additionally, the built-in battery charging circuit ensures continuous operation in the event of a mains power failure.

Design and functionality

The device is characterized by a solid metal construction, adapted for mounting in enclosures or on a DIN rail (bracket required). It has protections against short circuit (SCP), overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP) and deep battery discharge (UVP), which minimizes the risk of damage and ensures long-term operation. Built-in technical outputs signal AC mains failure, battery status and output fuse operation, enabling quick response in case of problems. The power supply is equipped with optical LED signaling of the operating status. The battery charging current can be switched between 0.5A and 1A, adapting it to the battery capacity.

Parameters and application

The PSDCG2-12V4X1A power supply offers an output power of up to 69W (with a total current of 5A). It is designed to work with batteries with a capacity of 7-17Ah. A wide range of input voltage (200-240V AC) ensures compatibility with most electrical installations. Thanks to meeting Grade 2 standards, the power supply finds application in systems requiring a higher level of security, such as commercial facilities, shops or offices. The START function allows manual switching of the power supply to the battery. Applied fuse protection with a value of 1A protects individual outputs against overload.
