Reliable power supply with buffer and monitoring

The PCSB 12V/2A pulse buffer power supply is a solid solution for alarm systems, video surveillance, access control and other devices requiring a stable power supply. The device ensures uninterrupted power supply even in the event of a mains failure, thanks to the possibility of connecting a 12V battery (7Ah or 9Ah). The compact plastic housing facilitates mounting and integration with existing infrastructure.

Functionality and protection

The PCSB power supply offers a constant output voltage of 13.8V DC with a maximum current of 2.5A (including battery charging). Built-in protections protect both connected devices and the power supply itself against the effects of short circuits (SCP), overloads (OLP), overvoltages (OVP) and deep battery discharge (UVP). Additionally, the anti-sabotage function (TAMPER) informs about an attempt to open the housing without authorization. The SW1 button allows manual switching of the power supply to battery mode – useful during testing or maintenance.

Signaling and remote monitoring

The power supply is equipped with relay technical outputs, which enable remote monitoring of its operating status. The AC FAILURE signal informs about a mains failure, and BT LOW VOLTAGE indicates a low battery level. This allows for quick response to potential problems and ensuring the continuity of the system. Optical signaling using LEDs indicates the operating status of the device.

The power supply is designed for surface mounting in a RAL9003 (white) plastic housing. Cable glands facilitate cable routing. The device meets safety standards and has a CE certificate.
