Fuse module for low-voltage systems
This fuse module, designated AWZ588, is a reliable solution for power distribution in low-voltage systems. It finds application in buffer power supplies, transformers, and other devices requiring voltages in the range of 10-30V DC or 10-24V AC. Thanks to its compact size and the possibility of mounting with self-adhesive tape or screws, installation is quick and convenient.
Functionality and safety
AWZ588 offers four independently protected power outputs, each protected by a 0.5A fuse (1A fuses can also be used). Short-circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OLP), and overvoltage protection ensure protection for both connected devices and the installation itself. In the event of a fuse failure, the corresponding LED (L1-L4) goes out, which facilitates quick problem identification. Additionally, the FPS output and signaling LED are activated, and the relay contacts switch – enabling remote monitoring of the module's status.
Specifications and construction features
The module has one power input and four outputs. Optical signaling of the output status is done using four green LEDs (L1-L4), and the red PSU LED indicates a possible power failure. Manufactured in accordance with EN54C standard (for power supplies of this series), which guarantees its reliability and compliance with safety system requirements. Environmental class II provides resistance to atmospheric conditions in typical indoor applications. The set includes two mounting screws and two F0.5A fuse links to facilitate installation and commissioning.
The module operates at a supply voltage of 10V to 30V DC with a tolerance of -2%/+2% or from 10V to 24V AC, and the output voltage is matched to the supply voltage. It has one input and four power outputs, as well as short-circuit protection (SCP) using F 0.5A / PTC 0.5A fuses, as well as overload (OLP) and overvoltage protection. The output status is signaled by LEDs, and the module can operate at temperatures from -10 to +50°C. Its dimensions are 125 x 43 x 32 mm, and the weight is approximately 0.08 kg or net: 100 g gross: 120 g depending on the data source.
