Fuse module for alarm and CCTV systems

This fuse module, designated AWZ580, is an indispensable element in low-voltage alarm systems and CCTV installations. It serves to distribute power, providing independent protection for each circuit. Its compact dimensions (124x43x20 mm) and the possibility of mounting on mounting tape or with screws facilitate installation even in limited spaces.

Functionality and application

The LB8/0.3-0.5A/FTA module accepts a supply voltage in the range of 10÷30VDC and has two power inputs – a screw terminal and a DC 5.5/2.1 socket. It offers eight independently protected AUX1÷AUX8 power outputs, each protected by a 0.3A or 0.5A (included) fuse. This allows you to connect multiple devices without the risk of damaging the entire system in the event of a short circuit or overload in one of the circuits. This is an ideal solution for extended video surveillance or alarm systems where reliability and safety are key.

Safety and protection

The module is equipped with short-circuit protection (SCP) and overload protection (OLP), which further increases its reliability. It also has overvoltage protection implemented by a varistor. Optical signaling using LEDs indicates the status of each AUX1÷AUX8 output – a lit LED indicates normal circuit operation. The module's construction meets the requirements of environmental class II and is adapted to operate at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C. Remember to mount the module in a metal housing to ensure full protection. The wire cross-section should not exceed 1mm².
