Reliable buffer power supply for security and access control systems

This Grade 3 switch-mode buffer power supply, with a voltage of 27.6V and a current of 5A, is designed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control systems (KD). Thanks to the possibility of connecting two 40Ah batteries, it guarantees long-term operation even in the event of a power failure. The device meets the stringent standards of EN50131-6 (degree 1-3) and EN60839-11, which confirms its high quality and reliability.

Functionality and safety

The power supply is characterized by high efficiency (86%), minimizing energy losses and providing a stable output voltage. It has a number of protections – against short circuit (SCP), overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent and has a tamper – protecting against opening the housing and detaching from the wall. In addition, the built-in battery monitoring system takes care of their proper operation and extends their lifespan. LED optical signaling informs about the status of the power supply and batteries. OC technical outputs allow integration with the alarm system, signaling failures of the AC network, power supply or battery.

Installation and compatibility

The power supply is designed for surface mounting and has a screwable housing to ensure safety. It supports batteries with a capacity of 7Ah, 17Ah, 24Ah and 40Ah, providing great flexibility in choosing the right solution. Compatible with both SSWiN and KD systems, it is a universal element of security infrastructure. The power consumption of the power supply circuits is a maximum of 45mA or 55mA depending on the version. The housing dimensions are 414 x 408 x 190 mm (+/-2 mm).
