Power supply module for fire protection systems – reliable power supply in critical situations

This power supply module, designed for fire protection systems, provides stable and uninterrupted power to devices responsible for safety. Designed in accordance with EN54-4 standard, it guarantees high reliability and effectiveness in the event of a mains power failure. The device is a key element of fire alarm systems, smoke and heat control systems, and other fire protection installations. Its construction allows it to work with batteries with a capacity of 17Ah to 40Ah, providing flexibility in system configuration.

Construction and functionality

The module is characterized by a compact design with dimensions of 237 x 168 x 55 mm. It is adapted for mounting in an enclosure or on a DIN rail (using an optional EN54M-DIN1 bracket). It is equipped with SCP (short-circuit protection), OLP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection) and UVP (undervoltage protection), protecting both the module itself and the connected devices. The battery charging current is 1.8A, and the device efficiency reaches 88%, which translates to efficient energy use. Two independently protected AUX1 and AUX2 outputs provide additional safety and flexibility in connecting receivers. Additionally, it has technical outputs of the relay type EPS (AC voltage failure signal) and ALARM (collective failure) and an EXTi input (external failure).
