RACK Security 4U Housing – Reliable Protection for Your System

This two-level RACK Security 4U housing, with a depth of 400mm and designed for 19" RACK cabinets, is a solid solution for professionals and end-users who need a secure and organized space for an alarm control panel and input/output modules. Designed for mounting in standard RACK cabinets, it provides optimal organization and protection of key security system components.

Construction and Functionality

The ARAD-S4 housing is made of durable DC01 sheet metal with a thickness of 1mm and 1.5mm, finished in black (RAL9004). This ensures not only durability but also an aesthetic appearance. Inside there is space for a battery with a capacity of up to 17Ah and a transformer with a power of 20-80VA (transformer and battery are not included). A power supply PCB (230VAC/max.5A) and six signal PCBs (each with 8 signal lines 30VDC/1.5A) allow connection of even extensive alarm systems. Additionally, the housing has anti-sabotage protections – housing opening tamper, cross-connection tamper, and protection against sliding out of the RACK profiles.

Compatibility and Mounting

The housing is compatible with alarm control panels from many popular manufacturers, such as Satel, Risco, DSC, Paradox, Pyronix, Crow, Roel, EBS, Telmor, Pulsar, Texecom and Roger. ARAS800 rails (for cabinets with a depth of 800mm) or ARAS1000 rails (for cabinets with a depth of 1000mm) are required for mounting in the RACK cabinet – rails are not included. The external dimensions of the housing are 395 x 159 x 400 mm (+/-2 mm), and the static load capacity is up to 30kg when using ARAS rails.

Safety and Reliability

The housing has a protection rating of IP20, which provides basic protection against touch. The anti-sabotage protections used minimize the risk of unauthorized access and manipulation of the alarm system. Thanks to the solid construction and high-quality materials, the ARAD-S4 housing guarantees long-term and reliable operation of the security system. The manufacturer's warranty is 2 years from the date of production.
