This cross-connection cabinet, also known as a patch panel, is a key element of fiber optic infrastructure. It provides a neat and organized termination of cabling in 19” racks, enabling easy management and reconfiguration of connections. Construction and mounting

Made of durable 1 mm thick steel sheet, painted in black RAL9005, it ensures durability and aesthetic appearance. Mounting is done using two-point front mounting to rack profiles. The set includes M6 screws and mounting baskets, which facilitate installation. A height of 1U means that the cross-connection cabinet takes up little space in the rack.

Application and compatibility

Designed for mounting 24 single SC/APC (or SC/UPC) modules, it allows you to create a flexible and scalable cabling system. It can be used in various applications, from telecommunications networks to AIZ (Collective Antenna Installations) in multi-family buildings – in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy. Although the cross-connection cabinet does not contain the SC connectors themselves, it offers ready-made places for their snap-in mounting.
