The P-TR1HD passive video transmitter kit is a proposal for anyone who wants to transmit video signals from CCTV cameras using standard computer twisted pair cabling. The device matches the impedance of the coaxial cable (75Ω) to the impedance of the symmetrical cable (100Ω), ensuring stable and high-quality transmission. This is an ideal solution for both professional security system installers and end-users who want to expand their existing system without the need for costly cabling work.

Universal compatibility and range

P-TR1HD supports various transmission standards, including HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD, and CVBS. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of cameras and recorders. The transmission range depends on the standard and resolution:

• HD-CVI: up to 400m (720p), 230m (1080p), 160m (3/4/8Mpx)
• HD-TVI: up to 200m (720p/1080p), 180m (3/4/5/8Mpx)
• AHD: up to 320m (720p), 200m (1080p), 180m (3/4/5/8Mpx)
• CVBS: up to 400m (960H)

Simple installation and reliability

The design of P-TR1HD has been carefully thought out for easy installation. The BNC plug located on the cable facilitates connection to devices, especially where the sockets are close together. Screw terminals allow for a solid connection to UTP cables. It is important to use wires from the same twisted pair and maintain correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) during connection to prevent image interference. The device is characterized by high resistance to interference thanks to CMRR at 60dB at 5MHz and a bandwidth of up to 50MHz (-3dB). The solid construction ensures stable operation in a wide temperature range – from -20°C to 55°C.

Additionally, the ability to connect transmitters in series allows for organized cabling at the recorder. The kit is covered by a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
