HPSB 13.8V/7A/40Ah buffered power supply is a device designed to provide uninterrupted power to alarm systems, access control, monitoring and other applications requiring a stable voltage. The design based on impulse technology guarantees high efficiency and reliability. The device is particularly useful where power outages can lead to serious consequences.
Construction and functionality
The HPSB-12V7A-D power supply is characterized by a solid metal housing (DC01 sheet metal, 1mm, RAL9003 – white color), which provides protection against mechanical damage and external factors. Surface mounting simplifies installation in various locations. Inside there is space for a battery with a capacity of up to 40Ah (dimensions: 325 x 178 x 168 mm), which takes over the power supply function in the event of a mains power failure. LED optical signaling informs about the device's operating status – the presence of mains voltage and battery charging. In addition, the power supply has protections against short circuit (SCP), overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP) and deep battery discharge (UVP). The anti-tamper mechanism (TAMPER) protects against unauthorized access and manipulation.

The HPSB-12V7A-D power supply offers an output voltage of 13.8V DC and a maximum output current of 7A. The battery charging current can be adjusted using a jumper – 1A and 2A settings are available. The device's efficiency is 87%. The use of high-quality components and advanced protection circuits guarantees long life and trouble-free operation. The device is ideal for powering video surveillance systems, burglar alarms, access control systems, as well as other devices requiring a stable DC voltage. The possibility of locking the housing with a lock further increases the level of security. Remember the total current of the receivers plus the battery charging current, which must not exceed the maximum current of the power supply (7A).
