Channel Heater – Discreet Heating Comfort

The Aquilo FMS channel heater is the ideal solution for spaces where traditional radiators cannot be installed or would disrupt interior design. Mounted in the floor, it ensures even heat distribution while remaining completely invisible—a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics appreciated by both installers and end users.

Construction and Application

The heart of the heater is a copper-aluminum heat exchanger, ensuring efficient heat transfer from the heating medium. The exchanger is housed within a steel casing, hot-dip galvanized and painted black, guaranteeing durability and corrosion resistance. Connection to the central heating system is made via two internal G1/2" threaded nipples. The package also includes installation aids: a manual air vent, side shields for the heat exchanger, and 10 cm flexible stainless steel connections.

The Aquilo FMS heater is ideal wherever spatial constraints prevent the installation of traditional wall-mounted radiators. It performs exceptionally well in rooms with large glazing areas, where conventional heating systems may be less effective.

User Comfort and Durability

The heater casing is equipped with leveling screws and mounting elements for secure floor fixation, facilitating precise installation and stability. Removable openings for central heating piping and rubber grommets for electrical wiring ensure convenient integration with existing infrastructure. A particleboard plate protects the heat exchanger and casing from mechanical damage during installation and concrete pouring. Additionally, a steel cover conceals the connections to the heat exchanger, providing a clean, aesthetic finish.
