The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel convector is an ideal solution for modern heating installations where efficiency and aesthetics are important. Designed for underfloor mounting, it provides even heat distribution in the room while remaining invisible. It is an excellent choice for both new buildings and renovated interiors.

Construction and application

The Aquilo FMS convector consists of a copper-aluminum heat exchanger that effectively transfers energy to the surroundings. The heat exchanger is placed in a steel tub, galvanized and painted black – which ensures corrosion resistance and long-term operation. This makes the convector resistant to moisture and protected against mechanical damage during installation or operation. Connection to the central heating installation is realized using two connections with a G1/2" internal thread. The set also includes necessary mounting elements: manual air vent, side shields for the heat exchanger and flexible stainless steel connections. Additionally, the tub is equipped with leveling screws and fixing elements to the ground, which facilitates precise installation. Breakaway openings allow for easy connection of the central heating and electrical installations (in models with a fan). The chipboard protects the heat exchanger from damage during construction and concreting.
