Channel convector – discreet heating comfort

The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel convector is an ideal solution for modern interiors where aesthetics and efficiency are important. Installed in the floor, it provides even heat distribution without taking up valuable space on the walls. This is particularly important with large windows, where traditional radiators can limit light access. The radiator's construction based on a copper-aluminum heat exchanger guarantees fast heating and efficient heat transfer to the surroundings.

Construction and application

The Aquilo FMS radiator consists of a durable steel tub, galvanized and painted black, which ensures corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Inside the tub there is a copper-aluminum heat exchanger, also painted black for optimal performance. Thanks to two connections with a G1/2" internal thread, connection to the heating installation is simple and intuitive. The set includes necessary mounting elements: manual air vent, side shields for the heat exchanger and flexible stainless steel connections. Additionally, a chipboard protects the heat exchanger from damage during installation and concreting. Passages for central heating and electrical installations facilitate integration with the existing building infrastructure.

The Purmo Aquilo FMS radiator has been designed with the comfort of both installers and end-users in mind. Leveling screws and floor fixing elements ensure stable and safe installation. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and careful workmanship, the radiator is extremely durable – this is confirmed by the manufacturer's 10-year warranty. It is worth remembering the need to purchase a masking grille, which will aesthetically hide the radiator in the floor (available separately). This model of radiator is fanless, which translates to quiet operation.
