Channel convector – discreet thermal comfort

The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel convector is an ideal solution for modern heating installations where efficiency and a discreet appearance are important. Designed for floor mounting, it provides even heat distribution in the room while remaining invisible. This is an excellent choice for both new buildings and modernized installations.

Construction and application

The Aquilo FMS convector uses a copper-aluminum heat exchanger that effectively transfers heat to the surroundings. The heat exchanger is placed in a steel tub, galvanized and painted black – which provides durable corrosion protection. Connection to the central heating installation is made using two connections with a G1/2" internal thread. The set includes the necessary connection elements: a manual air vent, side shields for the heat exchanger, and flexible stainless steel connections.

Installation of the convector is facilitated by adjustable M8x30 mm legs and mounting elements for the substrate. Additionally, breakable openings allow for free routing of central heating pipes and electrical cables (for models with a fan – available separately). The chipboard protects the heat exchanger and tub during installation and prevents damage during concreting. However, a masking grille suitable for the chosen interior design must be purchased separately.
