Channel convector – discreet thermal comfort

The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel convector is an ideal solution for modern interiors where aesthetics and efficiency are important. Installed in the floor, it provides even heat distribution while remaining almost invisible. It is a subtle way to heat a room without disrupting its arrangement. The convector's construction is based on a copper-aluminum heat exchanger, which guarantees fast and efficient heating.

Construction and application

The Aquilo FMS convector consists of a durable steel tub, galvanized and painted black – both inside and outside. Inside the tub is a heat exchanger, also painted black. Connection to the central heating installation is made using two connections with a G1/2" internal thread. The set includes all necessary elements for correct installation: a manual air vent, side shields for the heat exchanger, and flexible stainless steel connections. Additionally, the tub is equipped with leveling screws and fixing elements for the floor, which facilitate precise installation. Knock-out openings allow for flexible connection of the central heating and electrical installations (for an optional fan – available in other Aquilo models). A chipboard plate protects the heat exchanger and tub during installation and concreting, preventing damage and deformation.
