Channel heaters – discreet heating comfort

The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel heater is the ideal solution for rooms where traditional radiators would disrupt the aesthetics or take up valuable space. Installed in the floor, it provides even heat distribution while remaining invisible. This is a particularly good solution under large windows, where traditional radiators could limit access to light.

The Aquilo FMS heater uses a copper-aluminum heat exchanger that efficiently transfers heat to the surroundings. The whole is placed in a steel tub, galvanized and painted black – which guarantees corrosion resistance and long life. The heater's design has been thought out with ease of installation and integration with the central heating system in mind. Two connections with a G1/2" internal thread allow connection to the installation, and the included elements – air vent, side covers and flexible connections – facilitate installation. Additionally, breakable passages for central heating installation and rubber passages for electrical installation increase flexibility during assembly.

Construction and installation

The Aquilo FMS heater is supplied with a set of elements to facilitate installation and leveling. M8x30 mm leveling screws and floor mounting elements ensure the stability of the structure. The chipboard protects the heat exchanger and tub from damage during concreting, and also prevents deformation of the tub. It is worth remembering that the masking grille is an element purchased separately – it allows you to match the appearance of the heater to the style of the interior.
