Channel heater – discreet thermal comfort

The Purmo Aquilo FMS channel heater is an ideal solution for installation in floors, providing even heat distribution in the room. Its design allows it to be almost completely hidden in the floor, leaving only an aesthetic masking grille (available separately), which perfectly fits into modern interior designs. This is a particularly good solution where space and minimalism are important.

Construction and application

The heart of the heater is a copper-aluminum heat exchanger, characterized by high heat exchange efficiency. The exchanger is placed inside a steel tub, galvanized on both sides and painted black – which provides durable corrosion protection. Connection to the central heating installation is made using two connections with a G1/2" internal thread. This heater works both in installations with traditional heat sources (gas, oil, solid fuel boilers) and in systems with heat pumps – although in the case of the latter, it is recommended to take into account appropriate correction factors.

The set with the heater includes: a manual air vent, side covers for the exchanger, a set of flexible stainless steel connections (length 10 cm, G 1/2" thread) and leveling screws and fixing elements to the ground. Additionally, the tub is equipped with breakable passages for the central heating installation and rubber passages for the electrical installation, which facilitates installation and integration with the building system. The chipboard protects the exchanger and tub during installation and concreting.
