The PURMO CLEVERFIT multilayer pipe is a modern solution for water supply and heating installations. Made of a combination of PE-RT and aluminum, it provides exceptional strength and resistance to operating conditions. Available in a coil of 600 meters and a diameter of 16x2 mm, it is ideal for both large construction projects and smaller renovations.

Construction and properties

The key to the exceptional properties of the PURMO CLEVERFIT pipe is its five-layer construction: two layers of PE-RT (high-density polyethylene), two layers of adhesive, and a central layer of butt-welded aluminum. This construction combines the advantages of plastics and metal, providing:

• High resistance to pressure and temperature: Maximum operating temperature up to 95°C and working pressure PN10 guarantee safe use in various systems.
• Anti-diffusion barrier: The butt-welded aluminum layer completely eliminates oxygen permeability, protecting installation components from corrosion. This is particularly important in heating systems with cast iron radiators.
• Low thermal expansion: Aluminum minimizes the expansion of the pipe under the influence of temperature, which translates into installation stability and reduces the risk of damage.
• Chemical resistance: The inner PE-RT layer is neutral to drinking water and resistant to many chemicals, including glycol (up to 30%).
• Hygiene: The material does not affect the quality of water, making it an ideal solution for water supply installations.

The PURMO CLEVERFIT pipe is perfect for:

• Water supply installations in residential and commercial buildings.
• Central heating systems (CH), including underfloor heating.
• Installations distributing domestic hot water.
• Cooling systems.

The pipe is easy and quick to install, it can be easily bent without the use of specialized tools (minimum bending radius 5xD) or with their use (3.5xD). This makes it appreciated by installers for its convenience, and by end-users for minimal interference with the existing building structure during renovations. Quality control of the pipe wall is carried out using ultrasound and laser during production – this guarantees the reliability of the product.
