It has been designed as an improvement over previous generations, introducing changes in the sealing method, which translates into increased connection tightness. This is particularly important for installers who value trouble-free installation and long-term reliability of the heating system.

Design and application

Changes in the design of the Purmo radiator valve sockets forced the introduction of a new family of valve inserts from Oventrop. These inserts are longer than previous models, resulting from the improved sealing method. Importantly, the new inserts maintain the same hydraulic characteristics as older generations, while also offering the possibility of pre-setting adjustment. Users and installers can adapt the radiator's operating parameters to individual needs and installation specifics.

It is worth noting the color markings of the adjusting elements of the inserts, which facilitate visual identification of the pre-setting: a black color indicates setting 3 (flow rate 0.27 m³/h). The factory-set value allows for optimal radiator operation immediately after installation, minimizing the need for additional adjustments.
