This is a wall mounting elbow from the PURMO CleverFit Radial series, designed to create durable and safe connections in central heating and domestic hot water installations. The fitting with a diameter of 52 mm and a 20x1/2 inch thread, made of high-quality brass, ensures long-term operation even in demanding conditions. It is an element of the PURMO CleverFit Radial system, which is characterized by versatility and ease of installation.

Construction and features ensuring tightness

The CleverFit Radial elbow features an advanced design that minimizes the risk of leaks and ensures a reliable connection. A key feature is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, i.e. controlled water leakage with an unpressed connection – visible water outflow at a pressure above 1 bar informs about the lack of proper pressing, which allows avoiding costly repairs in the future. Additionally, the use of two EPDM rubber O-rings and a special plastic ring separating the pipe from the fitting body protects against corrosion and guarantees long-term tightness.

Versatility and compatibility with various crimping profiles

PURMO CleverFit Radial fittings are characterized by high flexibility and compatibility with various pressing systems. The MULTITOOL function allows the use of up to 5 different crimping profiles: TH, H, U, F and VP, which greatly facilitates the work of installers using various tools. The solid brass body coated with nickel provides resistance to internal and external corrosion, and the control window facilitates proper positioning of the pipe in the fitting. The stainless steel collar permanently crimps the pipe during pressing, creating an inseparable connection.
