Wall mounting elbow – reliability and easy installation

This elbow from PURMO's CleverFit series is designed for creating central heating and plumbing installations. Made of high-quality nickel-plated brass, it provides corrosion resistance and connection durability. Its short length (35 mm) makes it ideal for tight spaces and precise routing of pipes along the wall. A 16x1/2 inch thread allows for easy connection to other installation elements.

Design and special features

The CleverFit elbow stands out with a number of features that facilitate installation and increase safety:

• Brass body with nickel coating: Ensures high resistance to internal and external corrosion, which translates to a long service life. Brass is a material inert to drinking water.
• Plastic ring: Separates the pipe with an aluminum insert from the brass body, minimizing the risk of galvanic corrosion. It also facilitates proper pipe positioning during crimping.
• Control window: Allows you to check if the pipe has been inserted correctly into the fitting before crimping.
• Stainless steel collar: Permanently crimps the pipe onto the socket during crimping, creating a tight and inseparable connection. An additional pipe holder stabilizes the pipe before crimping.
• Double O-ring seal: Two EPDM rubber seals provide an extra guarantee of tightness and connection durability.
• LBP function (Leak Before Press): Controlled water leakage at an un-crimped connection (above 1 bar) signals an installation error, preventing serious failures and costly repairs in the future. This is an important safeguard for the installer and end user.
• MULTITOOL compatibility: The ability to use 5 different crimping profiles (TH, H, U, F, VP) increases flexibility and allows cooperation with various crimping systems.
