This REGULUS R5/40 copper-aluminum radiator combines modern technology and a proven design, providing efficient room heating. It is characterized by high efficiency, both in systems powered by traditional boilers and modern heat pumps or condensing boilers. The radiator's construction is based on two systems – a copper system responsible for heat transport, and an aluminum system that ensures its optimal release into the environment. This combination allows the radiator to quickly reach full working power and enables precise temperature control in the room.
The REGULUS radiator stands out with its unique construction. Inside, there are horizontal copper heating pipes connected by vertical collector manifolds. The outer layer consists of vertically mounted aluminum fins, which increase the heat exchange surface area. This design provides a mixed mode of heat emission – through radiation and convection – which translates into even heating of the room. The connection between copper and aluminum is made in a way that eliminates the risk of electrochemical corrosion, guaranteeing the long-term reliability of the device.
Construction and application
The R5/40 radiator, with dimensions of 400 mm length, 495 mm height, and 90 mm depth, offers a heating power of 386 W (at parameters 75/65/20°C). It has a side threaded connection 1/2 inch (internal thread), which facilitates installation in existing systems. It is compatible with various types of installations – copper, plastic, or steel. The ability to connect it to electric, gas, oil, solid fuel boilers, and district heating networks makes it a universal solution for every home. Additionally, the radiator is equipped with a manual 1/2 inch air vent and mounting material (brackets or stands), which simplifies its installation.
It is worth noting the low water capacity of the radiator (0.39 l) and its quick response to changes in supply temperature. These features are particularly appreciated in modern heating systems, where precise control and energy saving play a key role. The radiator is coated with a powder coating in white (RAL 9003), which provides an aesthetic appearance and corrosion resistance. Additionally, it is equipped with side covers and a top cover to improve aesthetics and safety. The maximum working pressure is 1.5 bar and the maximum supply temperature is 110°C.
