The SOLLARIUS radiator from REGULUS is a combination of innovative design and high-quality materials, providing efficient room heating. It utilizes a mixed mode of heat emission – radiation and convection – which translates to thermal comfort and energy savings. Its compact dimensions (215 mm height, 400 mm length and 90 mm depth) allow for installation even in limited spaces.
Construction and performance
The SOLLARIUS radiator stands out with its unique construction, consisting of copper heating tubes surrounded by aluminum fins. Copper provides excellent heat conduction, and aluminum increases the heat exchange surface, resulting in high heating efficiency – up to 197 W at a supply temperature of 75/65°C. The connection of these two metals is made in a dry way, eliminating the risk of electrochemical corrosion and ensuring long-term reliability. Low water capacity (0.13 l) and low thermal inertia make the radiator quickly reach the set temperature, enabling precise heating control and reducing operating costs.
Installation and application
The SOLLARIUS radiator with side connection (internal thread 1/2 inch) is intended for use in single- and two-pipe heating systems with a maximum working pressure of 1.5 bar. The set includes mounting accessories (brackets or stands, gaskets, screws, dowels) and a manual air vent 1/2 inch, which facilitates installation for both professionals and end users. White color (RAL 9003) and a profiled front plate give the radiator an aesthetic look that will fit into any interior. Thanks to its high resistance to variable pressure and low supply temperatures, it works perfectly with modern heating systems, such as condensing boilers or heat pumps. Side covers provide additional protection against accidental contact with the hot surface of the radiator.
