The RPC-2ME-UNI-SSR time relay is a device designed for controlling time-based processes. Thanks to two independent triac-type semiconductor outputs and a universal supply voltage from 12V to 240V AC/DC, the device excels in various applications.

The modular design with a width of only 35 mm (2 DIN modules) allows for direct mounting on a DIN EN 60715 rail, simplifying installation in electrical switchboards. The device features an IP20 protection class.

Construction and technical parameters

The relay is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the EN 61812-1 standard. The housing, with dimensions of 64 × 35 × 90 mm, weighs only 112 grams.

The device operates at a universal DC/AC supply voltage ranging from 12V to 240V, supporting both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. It features a rated AC1 load of 2A at 230V AC and a maximum surge current of up to 120A for one cycle every 10ms. The continuous load capacity is a stable 2A under continuous load.

The device consumes only 1W of power, making it an energy-efficient solution even during long-term continuous operation. Electrical connections are made via robust screw terminals, ensuring durable and secure wire connections.

Functionality and operating modes

The system offers up to 10 different time functions and the possibility of setting within 8 time ranges. The adjustment range is from 1 second to 864000 seconds, allowing for the programming of both short pulses and long-term delays.

Functionality includes delayed switching on (E), switching on for a set interval (Wu), symmetrical cyclic operation with the first pause or pulse (Bp/Bi), delayed switching off via a control contact (R), a single pulse via closing the control contact (Ws), switching on for an interval via opening the control contact (Wa), delayed switching on and off via a control contact (Esa), cyclic operation controlled by closing the control contact (B), generating a 0.5s pulse after the set time T has elapsed, and constant switching on/off (ON/OFF).

The device offers two basic operating modes:

• ONE mode - activation of only one output channel
• BOTH mode - simultaneous activation of both output channels

Each of the two channels can operate as:

• Instantaneous output (immediate response)
• Delayed output (with programmable delay)
