Anti-pollution check valve – protection of the installation and drinking water
This anti-pollution check valve of class EA, with a diameter of 2 inches, is a reliable protection of the water installation against backflow. Made of dezincification resistant brass (DZR), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh conditions. Designed for use in drinking water systems, it meets the requirements of EN 1717 standard, guaranteeing safety of use.
The valve has an internal-external thread (2" GZ/21/2" GW), which facilitates installation and integration with the existing installation. Its construction based on a closing spring and a valve angle of 90 degrees ensures effective blocking of flow in the reverse direction. The Kvs value of 70 indicates a high flow rate, minimizing pressure loss in the installation.
Key features and applications
- Backflow protection: Prevents water from flowing back from the installation to the power source, protecting it from contamination.
- Drinking water safety: Meets the requirements of EN 1717 standard, guaranteeing the safety of water intended for consumption.
- Durability and resistance: Made of DZR brass ensures long-lasting and reliable operation, even in an aggressive environment.
- Wide application: Ideal for use with pressure regulators, filters and reduction-filtering stations.
- Universal mounting: Internal-external thread facilitates integration with various water installation elements.
- High flow rate: Kvs value of 70 minimizes pressure loss in the system.
This valve is used in drinking water installations where effective protection against backflow is required – both in residential and commercial buildings. It is particularly recommended for use with devices sensitive to pressure changes and potential contamination. The maximum working pressure is 25 bar at 20°C, and the operating temperature range is 2-65°C. The EPDM rubber seal guarantees the tightness and durability of the connections. Additionally, the product has a DVGW quality mark for water, confirming its compliance with strict safety standards.
