R26Xo Outdoor Unit – Compact, Efficient, Ready for Installation

The R26Xo outdoor unit is part of the Rotenso Roni wall-mounted air conditioner set, with a cooling capacity of 2.6 kW and heating capacity of 2.61 kW. Designed to operate across a wide temperature range – from -20°C to 30°C in heating mode and from -15°C to 53°C in cooling mode – it performs reliably even under extreme climatic conditions. Its compact dimensions (740 x 253 x 459 mm) and net weight of 22 kg facilitate transportation and wall mounting, even in confined spaces.

The built-in DC rotary compressor ensures stable operation with low power consumption. The C16 protection type allows safe connection to a circuit with 3x1.5 mm² supply cables – standard for residential installations. Refrigerant pipe connections: liquid Φ6.35 mm (1/4”) and gas Φ9.52 mm (3/8”) comply with widely adopted mounting standards.

For the Installer – Precision and Compatibility

Installation requires no additional adaptations. The mounting hole spacing of 362 x 256 mm is standard and compatible with most brackets. The maximum refrigerant piping length is 25 meters, and the maximum level difference between units can reach 10 meters – providing flexibility in unit placement. The additional refrigerant charge (12 g/m) required for piping lengths exceeding 5 meters is clearly specified – no guesswork needed.

The R32 refrigerant (GWP=675) is a modern, low-environmental-impact medium that meets current environmental requirements. The factory charge (0.45 kg) is precisely specified – there is no need to add or recover refrigerant unnecessarily.

For the User – Quiet, Efficient, No Compromises

The outdoor unit does not directly affect indoor noise levels; its noise level (50 dB(A)) refers only to the unit itself and is typical for this class of equipment. The overall system quietness results from its cooperation with the indoor unit R26Xi, which operates in super-quiet mode down to 22 dB(A).

The air conditioner operates at energy efficiency class A++ in cooling mode and A+ in heating mode – annual energy consumption is approximately 149 kWh for cooling and 700 kWh for heating. This means not only lower bills but also stable operation without sudden power surges. The DC compressor adjusts its speed according to demand – it does not “dump” cooling or heating at full capacity but regulates smoothly.

All these features work within a single system: the HD iAIR electrostatic filter in the indoor unit removes dust and allergens, and turbo or sleep modes can be activated via the remote control – without needing access to the outdoor unit.
