Air-to-water heat pump – efficient heating and cooling

Rotenso Airmi Split is a modern heating solution that utilizes energy from the air. The unit consists of an indoor unit (hydraulic module) and an outdoor unit, providing flexible installation and high efficiency. The heat pump is designed for heating systems and also enables cooling of rooms in warmer months. Thanks to the use of R32 refrigerant, the device is more environmentally friendly than older generations of heat pumps.

Performance and energy efficiency

Model AIS80X13i R14 offers a heating capacity of 8 kW (at a temperature of 7/35°C), making it a suitable solution for medium-sized homes. High energy efficiency class A+++ (for supply temperature 35°C) and COP of 4.52 (for parameter A7/W35) translate into low operating costs. The heat pump provides thermal comfort even at very low outdoor temperatures – down to -25°C. The maximum water temperature in heating mode is 65°C, and in DHW mode – 60°C.

Construction and functionality

The Rotenso Airmi Split heat pump is equipped with an inverter compressor that smoothly adjusts the device's power to current heating or cooling needs. The use of a supporting heater with a power of 9 kW (modulated to 3 kW + 3 kW + 3 kW) ensures reliable operation even in extreme weather conditions and during domestic hot water preparation. Additionally, the pump has a drain pan heater and a compressor crankcase heater, which protect the device from freezing and damage at low temperatures. The pump can be controlled using a wired controller with a Polish menu and the Tuya Smart mobile application (thanks to the Wi-Fi module). This allows for remote monitoring and adjustment of the device's operating parameters.
