Air source heat pump – efficient heating and cooling

The Rotenso Aquami AQM160X3 heat pump is an advanced monoblock unit designed for efficient heating, cooling and domestic hot water preparation. The monoblock design simplifies installation, eliminating the need to install an additional hydraulic module inside the building. The unit uses an environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

Performance and energy efficiency

The AQM160X3 model offers a heating capacity of 16 kW (at 7/35°C), making it suitable for both new buildings and modernization of existing installations. The high energy efficiency class A+++ (for a supply temperature of 35°C) translates to low operating costs. The heat pump ensures stable operation even at low outdoor temperatures – down to -25°C – without the need to use an additional electric heater up to -15°C. The maximum water temperature in heating mode is 65°C, and in DHW mode – 60°C.

Construction and additional functions

The device is equipped with a number of functions that increase comfort and safety of operation. A built-in drain pan heater protects against freezing of condensate, and a compressor crankcase heater ensures proper start-up of the device at low temperatures. Additionally, the pump has a supporting heater with a power of 9 kW (modulated), which can be used in emergency situations or at extremely low outdoor temperatures. The two-door housing design provides easy access to all pump components, making servicing and maintenance easier. The USB function enables quick software updates.

Control and integration with smart systems

The Rotenso Aquami AQM160X3 heat pump can be controlled via a wired controller with a Polish menu and via a mobile application. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi module, remote control of the device's operating parameters is possible. The Smart Grid function allows automatic adjustment of the pump's operation to energy surpluses from photovoltaic installations or favorable electricity tariffs.

Delivery completeness

The AQM160X3 set includes: outdoor unit, wired controller, DHW tank sensor, plate heat exchanger, flow sensor, diaphragm tank, manometer, water pump, safety valve, air vent valve and Y-type water filter.

Technical data:

The device operates on a 380-420V power supply (3 phases). It has overload protection and a compressor protection system. The sound pressure level is 57.5 dB(A), which ensures quiet operation of the device.
