It allows you to remotely control the device using your smartphone or tablet, regardless of your location. The Smart WiFi modem is compatible with Rotenso Elis, Firo and Roni series air conditioners, providing access to all device functions from an intuitive mobile application. Thanks to this, you can adjust the temperature, operating mode, fan speed and other settings before you even return home – saving energy and ensuring optimal comfort.

Functionality and application

The modem allows you to control the air conditioner using a mobile application, available on devices with iOS and Android systems. Configuration is simple and intuitive – just connect the module to the air conditioner (depending on the model of the T or REF series, the installation method is slightly different – details in the user manual) and connect it to the Wi-Fi network. The application offers a wide range of functions, including:

• Remote on/off: Control the operation of the air conditioner from anywhere.
• Temperature adjustment: Set the preferred temperature in the room.
• Operating mode change: Choose from cooling, heating, dehumidifying or automatic modes.
• Fan speed control: Adjust the airflow to your needs.
• Scheduling: Program the air conditioner to operate at specific times or days of the week.
• Energy consumption monitoring: Track the device's power consumption (depending on the air conditioner model).
• Additional functions: Turning on/off functions such as ECO mode, sleep mode or self-cleaning function (if available in your model).

Design and compatibility

The Smart WiFi modem has been designed for easy installation and reliable operation. Depending on the Rotenso air conditioner model (T or REF series), the method of connecting the module may vary – please refer to the user manual included with the device. The module communicates with the air conditioner via Wi-Fi, using IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards and IPv4/IPv6/TCP/UDP/HTTPS/TLS/MulticastDNS protocols, ensuring a stable connection and data security thanks to WEP/WPA/WPA2/AES128 security. The device meets the quality and safety standards of the European Union, as confirmed by the CE marking.

Additionally, it is worth remembering about two ways to configure the application – via CF mode (quick connection) and AP (access point), which provides flexibility during installation.
