Touchless urinal flush valve Schelltronic – hygiene and water saving

The Schelltronic urinal flush valve is a modern solution for public and commercial facilities where hygiene and minimizing water consumption are a priority. It operates on the principle of infrared detection, which eliminates hand contact with the fixture – this is not only convenient but, above all, more hygienic. The flush valve is designed for surface mounting, which simplifies its installation in both new and renovated buildings.

Construction and operating principle

The Schelltronic flush valve uses a 6V solenoid insert valve integrated with a pre-filter that protects it from contamination. The set includes an internal connector and a flushing tube with a length of 200 mm. Power is supplied by a standard 9V alkaline battery, eliminating the need to connect to the electrical network – particularly useful during the modernization of existing installations. The built-in shut-off valve facilitates servicing and battery replacement without the need to shut off the water supply to the entire system. Additionally, the flush valve has an automatic anti-stagnation flushing function every 24 hours, preventing the development of bacteria in the installation and maintaining water freshness.

Comfort of use and technical parameters

The Schelltronic flush valve offers a wide range of flushing time adjustment – from 2 to 15 seconds – allowing it to be adapted to specific needs and operating conditions. The flow rate is 0.3 l/s (according to DIN EN 12541), which ensures effective flushing while simultaneously saving water. The working pressure is in the range of 0.5 to 5 bar, which guarantees stable operation in various hydraulic conditions. Noise class II (DIN 4109) ensures acoustic comfort in used rooms. Materials in contact with water are made of brass compliant with the German Drinking Water Regulation, which confirms the high quality and safety of use. The flush valve has the PA-IX 8952/II approval mark.
