iC60N Circuit Breakers – Reliable Protection for Electrical Installations

The iC60N-D16-2 circuit breaker is a two-pole device designed to protect electrical circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits. A rated current of 16A combined with characteristic D makes it an ideal solution for circuits with receivers generating high inrush currents, such as motors or power supplies. The device provides effective protection in both AC and DC installations.

The design of the iC60N circuit breaker is designed for easy installation and operation. The ability to remove a single device without removing the busbar and quick mounting on a DIN rail significantly speeds up installation work. Additionally, dual terminals allow connection of wires of different cross-sections – from 1 to 25 mm² for solid wires and from 1 to 16 mm² for stranded wires.

Safety and functionality in one device

The iC60 series is a wide range of circuit breakers that meet the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards. Equipped with an optical VisiTrip indicator, they inform about the cause of tripping – a red color indicates tripping caused by a fault. The VisiSafe indicator (green color) confirms the physical disconnection of the contacts, allowing safe maintenance work to be carried out in the downstream circuit.

• The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is as high as 6 kA at 400 V and 230 V, and the Icu capacity reaches 10 kA (400 V) and 20 kA (230 V), which guarantees high protection efficiency in the event of a short circuit.
• Energy limitation class 3 provides additional safety for the installation.
• A width of 2 modules allows for efficient use of space in the switchboard.
• The ambient operating temperature is in the range of -35°C to 70°C, which allows the circuit breaker to be used in various environmental conditions.
• Power losses are only 2.4 W, which translates into energy savings.
• The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against accidental contact.

iC60N circuit breakers are also characterized by care for the environment – they are halogen-free, and their production uses recyclable materials and packaging made of recycled paper.
