Auxiliary contact for Schneider Electric circuit breakers – reliable circuit status indication

This auxiliary contact is a key element for expanding the functionality of ComPact NSX, ComPact NS, PowerPact Multistandard and EasyPact CVS circuit breakers. It allows for remote monitoring of the circuit status, which is particularly important in automation and remote control systems. Thanks to it, installers can easily integrate circuit breakers with BMS (Building Management System) or SCADA systems, and end-users can gain full control over the protection status.

Versatile application and compatibility

The contact is designed to work with NS100.630N/H/L series circuit breakers, offering flexibility in configuration selection. Various signaling options are available – indication of the off state (OF), tripping (SD) and tripping fault (SDE). For the ComPact NSX and PowerPact Multistandard series, signaling of ground fault (SDV) is also available. Mounting takes place in dedicated slots inside the circuit breaker, ensuring ease of installation and connection reliability.

Quick installation and reliable connection

The use of spring-loaded terminals significantly speeds up the wiring process, eliminating the need for tools and reducing installation downtime. Spring-loaded terminals also guarantee a secure and durable connection, resistant to vibration and loosening. The accepted wire cross-section is 0.5 mm² (AWG20) to 1.5 mm² (AWG16), ensuring compatibility with most standard installation cables. The contact has a single common pole switching contact – one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC), providing a high degree of freedom in control circuit configuration. The rated current of 4A for AC-15 at 230V provides sufficient performance for most signaling applications. Compliance with IEC 60947-5-1 confirms the safety and reliability of the device.
