Combined circuit breaker Acti9 iDPNaVigi-B10-30-A A9D54610

Safety and control in single-phase circuits

This residual current device with overcurrent protection function (RCBO) combines two key protective functions in one compact device. Designed for mounting in modular distribution boards, it protects the installation from the effects of short circuits, overloads, and earth leakage currents. Thanks to the use of B tripping characteristic, the device reacts precisely to short-circuit currents ranging from 3 to 5 times the rated current, making it particularly useful in circuits supplying electronic devices, switching power supplies, or LED lamps, where DC components may occur. The rated current of 10 A and sensitivity of 30 mA (type A) provide standard electric shock protection for sockets and general-purpose circuits.

Diagnostic comfort and status visualization

One of the most practical features of this model is the dual-part operating lever, which immediately informs about the cause of the trip. If the lever is in the intermediate position, it indicates the activation of differential protection (current leakage), and if it has fallen completely, the overcurrent protection has tripped (overload or short circuit). Additionally, the device is equipped with an optical indicator system:

  • Visi-Trip (white-red) signals the electrical tripping of the device.
  • Visi-Safe (green) confirms the physical opening of the contacts, which is crucial for safety during service work – the installer can see at a glance that the circuit is disconnected.

The ability to check correct operation with the "T" test button once a year (for the first 7 years) allows for quick verification of the system's functionality without the need for additional measuring instruments.

Application and mounting parameters

The device occupies 4 modules of width on the DIN rail and has a mounting depth of 44 mm, which requires providing appropriate space in the distribution board. It is designed for operation in single-phase AC networks with a voltage of 230 V. In the event of a fault or the need for replacement, the device simultaneously disconnects both the phase and neutral (N) poles, eliminating the risk of leaving the neutral conductor live after disconnection.

Wires can be connected directly to the terminals:

  • Single-core wires: cross-section from 1 to 16 mm².
  • Multi-core wires: cross-section from 1 to 10 mm².

The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 4.5 kA, and the energy limiting class is class 3, which means fast extinguishing of the electric arc during short circuits. The device is resistant to ambient temperatures from -25 °C to +60 °C, allowing for its installation not only in heated interiors but also in utility rooms or garages. The enclosure protection rating is IP20, which means protection against solid objects larger than 12 mm and no protection against water – a standard for devices mounted in enclosed distribution boards.
