This device combines the functions of an overcurrent circuit breaker and a residual current device in a single housing, allowing for comprehensive protection of three-phase installations against overloads, short circuits, and electric shock. Thanks to a 30 mA sensitivity in type AC, the device effectively detects DC and AC leakage currents, protecting users from direct contact and minimizing the risk of fire resulting from earth leakage.

Practical application and ease of installation

The built-in mechanism ensures the simultaneous disconnection of all three phases and the neutral conductor (N), which is crucial for safety when operating three-phase devices. A width of 5 modules on the DIN rail means that the device occupies relatively little space in the distribution board, despite the full functionality of an RCBO. Installation is simplified by the ability to connect wires with cross-sections from 1 to 16 mm² (single-core) or up to 10 mm² (multi-core), providing the installer with flexibility when working with different types of cables. A mounting depth of 44 mm allows for free placement in standard distribution boxes, and the IP20 protection rating guarantees safety against accidental contact with live parts.

Durability and fault diagnostics

Energy limiting class 3 and resistance to current surges (0.25 kA) further increase the level of installation safety against the effects of overvoltages. It is worth noting the visual diagnostics system – VisiTrip indicators allow for quick differentiation of the cause of tripping: whether it was an overcurrent fault (overload/short circuit) or a residual current leakage. Such a function significantly shortens service time and facilitates problem localization without the need for additional measuring instruments. The device operates stably in ambient temperatures from -5 to +60 °C, making it a universal solution for both residential interiors and industrial production halls.
