The TM5NS31 communication module is a key element of the Modicon TM5 system, designed for building distributed I/O islands based on the Sercos III bus. Sercos III is a client-server communication protocol based on the request and response principle, which guarantees deterministic data exchange. Its compact dimensions (37.5 mm wide, 99 mm high and 75 mm deep) allow for easy integration in limited space. The module weighs only 30g, which facilitates mounting and minimizes structural load.
