Professional control station for industrial applications

The XAPD2503 control station is an empty metal enclosure from the Harmony XAP series, designed for the installation of Ø22mm buttons from the XB4 and XB5 series. The grey enclosure (RAL7035) made of zinc alloy offers a compact solution for installers requiring flexible control interface configuration in small spaces.

Three mounting holes with a diameter of 22.5mm allow for the combination of various control functions in a single enclosure, while simultaneously leaving convenient space for internal wiring. Two M20 holes are standardly provided for ISO cable glands.

Construction and protective parameters

The enclosure, with dimensions of 80×130×77mm, is made of zinc alloy, ensuring high mechanical and corrosion resistance. The IP65/IP67 protection rating guarantees tightness against dust and water jets, enabling installation in demanding environmental conditions.

Class I protection against electric shock according to EN/IEC 61140 and IK07 mechanical impact resistance according to EN/IEC 62262 make the station safe for industrial operation. The device weight is 0.815kg, ensuring stable mounting while maintaining a reasonable overall weight.

Normative compliance and certification

The product meets the requirements of EN/IEC 60529 (degrees of protection provided by enclosures) and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (low-voltage controlgear), holding CE, UL, cULus, and EAC certificates. The standardized metric thread ensures full compliance with the IEC 62444 standard for cable glands.

The station has been designed for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) meeting the requirements of heavy-duty applications: material handling, food industry, wind turbines, mining, and the automotive sector.

Configuration flexibility and mounting

The design allows for mounting in both vertical and horizontal positions thanks to four mounting holes. The Harmony online product selector and configurator allows for full interface customization according to individual design needs.

Legend panels are available to improve operating ergonomics and overall aesthetics. The eco-friendly manufacturing complies with RoHS, WEEE, and REACh directives regarding environmental protection.
